This is the first Septuagint (LXX) Interlinear of the Old Testament ever to be produced (so far as is known), and highlights those Greek words used in the LXX, but not found in the Christian Greek Scriptures. How are they handled? Take the verb ‘love’ agapao, Strong’s 25, the noun agape, 26, adjective agapetos 27. Added in the concordance with 8 LXX refs only is agapesis,, denoted as 26.1 ‘the act of loving, affection’. So any extra LXX Greek lexical references have a number following a decimal point after the Strong’s number. This AB-Strong system is a most valuable addition when studying a Christian Greek Scripture word. In a few cases several related Strong’s numbers have been brought together under the main one, such as eimi (am, to be, you are etc.),1510,1 thru 10, so that a further sub-division is used, but these are infrequent.
